Stan Lee’s impact on the world is immeasurable and the outpouring of love for him since his passing on November 12th continues to envelope the earth, much like the characters and stories in the Marvel Universe he created.
Star Wars and Marvel are of course both owned by Disney but the relationship between the franchises go back to before A New Hope was released and the first incarnation of Marvel Star Wars comics. The story of the formation of comics from the GFFA is a fascinating one, and iO9 has a great piece highlighting the history, which you can read HERE.
Like many, I have been reading all of the amazing tributes for the man who’s work touched many of the earth’s inhabitants. I came across many tributes from comic creators, actors and other professionals that Star Wars autograph collectors know for their work within our favorite galaxy. I’ve compiled many of them below, but before that, here are some comics signed by Stan Lee as well as photo ops sent in by friends specifically for this piece.
