Photography on Episode IX wrapped today. The news was announced via JJ Abrams’ Twitter account.
“It feels impossible, but today wrapped photograph on Episode IX.” said Abrams. “The is no adequate way to thank this truly magical crew and cast. I’m forever indebted to you all.”
Actors have also taken to Twitter to say goodbye to the Saga.
The question on everyone’s mind is: “Does this mean the reveal of Episode IX’s title is imminent?”
We can certainly hope but if we look back, Episode VIII wrapped on July 22nd, 2016 and The Last Jedi title reveal came on January 23rd, 2017. That’s almost exactly a six month wait from wrap to reveal. While I personally think an August reveal for the Episode IX title is unlikely, I think there’s a good chance we will learn the title in Chicago during Star Wars Celebration.
