These are unprecedented times for Star Wars autograph collectors. In the absence of conventions during the pandemic we have seen a tremendous increase in the number of actors taking part in private signings as well as the number of companies conducting them.
CelebWorx has caught the attention of many Star Wars autograph collectors with a recent private signing with Clive Revill as well as online sales for Grey DeLisle and Keone Young. Over the last few weeks Star Wars Autograph News received several questions about the company so we reached out to Nery Lumus from CelebWorx for some information and history and to “introduce” themselves to the Star Wars autograph collecting community.
Below is the history of CelebWorx from Lemus, unedited and in his own words.
“Hey Frank! It’s great to hear from you. We would love the spotlight piece and feel honored.
CelebWorx is a leading celebrity appearance company that represents talent for conventions, signings, and personal appearances. This past December marked our 6th year as a company.
Our story represents the concept that everything happens for a reason. You never know where life is going to take you! CelebWorx started with one client after a serendipitous encounter at the line of a craft store. My business partner Chris was going to a Toys for Tots charity event celebrating an anniversary year of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We were avid fans and had a deep love and appreciation for voice talent. We drove all over town to collect all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle retro figures that were released at the time. Chris happened to buy a few Krang figures but he had to find the right pen. This was long before people were using paint pens avidly. It was considered weird of us to search for any color paint pen, let alone pink. Sharpie at the time was king! Chris standing in the line of this craft store overhears a gentleman in front talking with the store staff on recommendations for pen use for autographs on a ceramic mug. Chris jumps in to give him advice. The gentleman revealed he was attending the same Toys for Tots TMNT charity event that night. After the coincidental shock, the gentleman revealed himself as Pat Fraley, the voice of Krang. The same person Chris just bought toys to sign later that night. After a great discussion between Chris and Pat, the rest was history!

Christopher Arsaga is a celebrity agent, producer, artist, memorabilia dealer. His memorabilia background started in the 1990’s when he was hired as part of the management team for the Flagship ESPN store in Los Angeles, CA. His signings were some of the first of many with sports stars such as Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Steve Young, and Joe Montana. When Chris isn’t representing celebrities at CelebWorx, he is a producer at APA Venture Films in Los Angeles. APA Venture Films produces feature films, TV shows, and content for streaming services and other online outlets. Chris is one of the heads of production at APA Venture Films and is currently assisting with progressing over 30 projects in development.
Nery Lemus is a celebrity agent, memorabilia dealer, and film major. Nery Lemus collected autographs for over a decade starting as early as the age of 10. His love for meeting legendary Dodger players at games shifted his collecting focus to entertainment after his desire to make films took front stage. Lemus majored in Film Editing and Production at CSUN’s Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, & Communication. During college, Lemus wrote for blogs and assisted on content creation for fan websites like Mike the Fanboy. He graduated to script doctoring and script dissection for a film production company in Los Angeles. During college, his memorabilia confidant Christopher Arsaga asked Lemus to bring over his passion for memorabilia and entertainment to assist with his personal clients Pat Fraley and Loren Lester. Within 2 years, Lemus brokered deals with over 30 promoters across the country covering over 50 events yearly and helped build a company the two of them coined CelebWorx. CelebWorx now works with over a hundred clients, promoters, and events arranging appearances for events and private signings around the world.
At CelebWorx, we have assisted in brokering private signings with people such as Priscilla Presley, Ed O’ Neil, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Arleen Sorkin. Our exclusive Star Wars Clients Include Terry McGovern, Keone Young, and Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano, who recently did an autograph signing under our representation with Star Wars Autograph Universe. Other Exclusive Non-Star Wars Clients Include the best of the voice industry; names such as Bret Iwan “Mickey Mouse,” Bill Farmer “Goofy”, Kenny James “Bowser”, Samantha Kelly “Princess Peach”, Alan Oppenheimer “Skeletor”, and Melendy Britt “She-Ra.”
