Today we learned the names eight more signers for Star Wars Celebration autograph hall and leading the list is none other than Billy Dee Williams. Star Wars Autograph News recently spoke with Topps Star Wars Authentics manager Mark Von Ohlen about the latest guests.
“Of the eight, two of them are first timers and two of them are principle cast members.” said Ohlen. “The first one is the legendary Billy Dee Williams. He is going to be in Episode IX and he’s an integral part of the original trilogy and he’s going to be there from Friday to Sunday.”
Other original trilogy guests announced were Julian Glover, Anthony Forest, John Morton and first time Celebration guest Michael Culver .
“We’ll also have some original trilogy guests because I know people have been clamoring for that.” explains Ohlen. “We’ve been working hard behind the scenes for awhile making sure we have some good OT representation.”
“We have John Morton as our Boba Fett this year. As you know Jeremy Bulloch can’t make it to the show, he’s retired from public signings, but John has always been a great Boba Fett and he’s Dak.”
Joining Vanessa Marshall from Star Wars Rebels are Freddie Prinze Jr. and Taylor Gray.
“Also coming to the show is Freddie Prinze Jr. who made his Celebration debut with us in 2017.” said Ohlen. “We felt it was important for him to come back now that the show has closed. Plenty of people need to meet him after that and cry.”
“With Freddie coming we couldn’t leave out his padawan so Taylor Gray is coming as well. They’ll both be there Thursday and Friday.”
Rounding out the announcement is Rogue One’s Alan Tudyk. Chicago will mark Tudyk’s second Celebration.
