Disney-era actress credited as the first female Stormtrooper, Samantha Alleyne, will make her first public signing appearance at the “Boonta Eve Cantina” on Wednesday, May 25th at Bigs Fullerton. The show, which will feature several signers spanning the saga, is a pre-Celebration event sponsored by “The Virtual Cantina“/Star Wars Celebration 2022 Facebook group (fan-run and not affiliated with LFL/ReedPop/Disney), Skywalking Through Neverland and Star Wars Autograph News.
Alleyne has portrayed several characters in the Disney-era films including a First Order Stormtrooper in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi; Stormtrooper and Scarif Rebel Soldier in Rogue One and Mimban Trooper and Stormtrooper in Solo.
Alleyne joins previously announced “Boonta Eve” signers Eric Walker, Dominic Pace, Tim Donaldson and Leilani and Ariel Shiu.
In addition, we will have authors Craig Miller (Star Wars Memories: My Time In The (Death Star) Trenches), Kevin* and Tracey Thompson (My Journey to Endor) and Richard Woloski (Today in Star Wars History: Part 1.) They will all have copies of their books available for purchase and autographing.
Signings will take place from 4pm-7pm so please come early as space will be limited to venue capacity.
After the autograph signings be sure to stick around for the main event of the evening which is the third “Alderaan Idol” Karaoke Competition featuring guest judges Dominic Pace, Misty Rosas, Leilani Shue and Eric Walker. The emcee for the evening will be Kevin Thompson. The party starts at 8pm and if you attended our event in Chicago you know its one not to miss.
