I came across a report from French website MintInBox.net today which stated Official Pix had confirmed via Facebook that they would not be involved with Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016, which happens this July. If you can understand French, you can read the original story HERE.
If you are like me, and the only French you know came from the back of hockey trading cards, here's a translation via Google.
"It Official Pix via Facebook that communicated about the managements of the actors Celebration Europe. Indeed Official Pix communicated officially to the fact that it would not present during Star Wars Celebration and for the first time since Japan Celebration."
This should not surprise anyone, as it was reported over the summer that Official Pix was not going to have the photo contract with Lucasfilm going forward (if you need a refresher, click HERE.)

After reading the story I reached out to Ben Stevens regarding it's accuracy. Stevens confirmed to me that Official Pix will not be officially involved with the next Celebration.
Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 happens July 15-17, 2016 at the ExCeL London Exhibition Centre in London. Single day tickets for the event can be purchased HERE.
This news raises many new questions regarding Celebration's autograph hall, and the landscape of Star Wars autograph collecting in general. Stay tuned to Star Wars Autograph News for the latest developments.
