Fans attending MCM Birmingham this weekend will have the opportunity to have a limited edition print signed by the four Imperial Officers attending the show. The print, which was commissioned by Alliance Agents and approved by MCM, is limited to 100 pieces and features the images of Captain Needa, Admiral Piett, General Veers and Moff Jerjerrod as well as Darth Vader with a space battle taking place in the background.
MCM Birmingham marks the first time Michael Culver (Captain Needa), Ken Colley (Admiral Piett), Michael Pennington (Moff Jerjerrod) and Julian Glover (General Veers) have ever attended the same convention. The four will take part in a special panel on Saturday from 14:00-14:45.
The print was designed by Andy Hackett, who considers his graphic work a “full-time hobby”
“I’ve been using Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro now for some ten years plus, and it’s a full-time hobby for me…just ask my wife.” says Hackett on his Facebook Page. “In recent times, I have created pieces specifically for autograph signings, for the actors and stars to sign. Have a huge interest in cult TV and movies, and they tend to be what I base my pieces around.”
