It's the last day of September, which means it's also the last day to order officially licenesed Star Wars photos and autographs from Official Pix.  On July 8th, Official Pix announced they were not renewing their license with Lucasfilm/Disney to produce licensed images from the franchise (you can read more about that HERE.)

Here is message sent out by Official Pix via email this morning.

"Since 2001, it has been our pleasure to provide fans & customers worldwide the opportunity to add high-end licensed Star Wars photographs & autographs to their collections. Today is the final day that we'll be offering these up for purchase. Browse through our online store and stock up for Christmas or a future convention as we still have some great in stock options to choose from. Thank you for your business and stay tuned for some awesome future autograph opportunities coming soon. We're just getting warmed up."

There are still some amazing opportunities here for collectors.  Those looking to add autographs to their collections will see names like Christopher Lee, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels and Tem Morrison still available.  There are still opportunities to add autographs from all six films, The Clone Wars and Rebels. 

More importantly, there are photographs availalble for purchase as well.  For those who aren't graphic artists (or in my case, have a good friend who is one) this is a great chance to stock up on photos for future autographs. Will we see another company produce official photos for Star Wars in the future?  Will Lucasfilm/Disney do it themselves?  We're just not sure.  There is no equilvalent company that produces photos for other Disney properties like Marvel, The Muppets or Pirates of the Caribbean, so today could be your last chance for some time to get your hands of Star Wars photos.
