Carrie Fisher has postponed her scheduled appearance at Rhode Island Comic Con this weekend due to illness.  The following statement was just sent to members of the press by RICC's Press Relations Manager:

"Due to temporary illness, Carrie Fisher will have to postpone her appearance at Rhode Island Comic Con until 2016. She deeply regrets having to do this and looks forward to meeting all of her wonderful fans in Rhode Island next year. Any and all pre-purchased autographs and photo ops will be refunded through Eventbrite within the next 7-10 business days."

Fisher was reportedly feeling ill at Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo last weekend in California and sent out the following tweet yesterday.
