These are real. They are the ORIGINALS, not reproductions or copies.  Johnston will sign and personalize them at the winner’s request.  They also include a COA that’s signed by Joe Johnston.

This is a very rare opportunity to own a piece of the Star Wars ORIGINAL TRILOGY.

These storyboards were created with felt-tip pen, marker and pencil.

The artwork is on 8.5″ x 11″ paper.

The storyboards have watermarks on them that say “Joe Johnston Sketchbook.” This watermark is only on the photos, not the artwork itself.

As sequences progressed, many storyboards were replaced by other storyboards or may have been cut entirely.  However, many of these storyboards from Joe Johnston’s collection do represent shots that are in the final film.  This storyboard is over 30 years old and has been kept in pristine condition. Joe Johnston was the VFX Art Director on Stars Wars Episodes IV, V and VI.  He designed most of the spaceships and vehicles, some of the characters, and storyboarded most of the sequences that involve VFX.  He went on to direct many films such as Captain America: The First Avenger,  Jumanji,  Hidalgo,  The Wolfman, The Rocketeer,  October Sky,  Jurassic Park III, and  Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
