Rhode Island Comic Con featured rare autographing appearances by two Star Wars dignitaries this weekend. Gwendoline Christie (Saturday and Sunday) and Hayden Christensen (Saturday only) both signed autographs and participated in photo ops for fans at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Thanks to the generosity of many Star Wars fans and autograph collectors, here are images from Rhode Island Comic Con featuring the the two guests.
GWENDOLINE CHRISTIE
As far as I can tell, Christie’s last autographing appearance (she has attended San Diego Comic Con as a panel guest) was at Denver Comic Con in 2015. Due to this event occurring prior to the release of The Force Awakens there was a strict policy that she could not sign any Star Wars images at this show, making Rhode Island the first opportunity fans had to have images of Captain Phasma signed in person at a convention.

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN
Christensen made his autographing appearance debut at Star Wars Celebration Orlando in 2017. Prior to that he had last been scheduled to attend Fan Expo Canada in 2007 for the release of the film Jumper, but his appearance was cancelled about a month prior to the show. This makes Rhode Island Comic Con his second autographing appearance (he attended Celebration II as a panel guest only) and first autographing appearance at a convention not organized by Lucasfilm.
