The official Star Wars site has announced that Anthony Daniels will have meet and greet times during Celebration. These have been arranged directly with Lucasfilm and will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday in room W190A, not in autograph hall. Sessions will cost $100 and are cash only.
“Have you ever dreamed of having an audience with C-3PO himself? Now is your opportunity! Star Wars Celebration Chicago is proud to present some special meet & greet experiences with Anthony Daniels. Meet the man behind your favorite protocol droid in room W190A on Saturday & Sunday. Don’t miss this chance to get an autograph and say hello to C-3PO in one of over six million forms of communication. Not available for pre-sale and must be purchased at the event. Private meet and greets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.”
Meet and greet times are as follows.
Saturday:
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Sunday:
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Star Wars Autograph News reached out to Ben Stevens, owner of Official Pix, for more details about this opportunity.
“We will have 8×10 photos at the table and people can bring their own item too.” said Stevens.” He also said the meet and greet would not include a selfie but we should stay tuned for more information about Daniels’ Celebration schedule coming soon.
Daniels will also be sharing his personal stories in his one-hour presentation called “Droidography” on Saturday at 5:15 on the Galaxy Stage.
