(This piece was originally written as a lead-in to Celebration Anaheim in 2015. I will be updating it to include details of all future Celebrations.)
There is nothing else like Star Wars Celebration.
The official Lucasfilm Star Wars event is the destination for fans from around the world to converge for the latest reveals of upcoming LFL projects, panels from the brilliant minds who have brought Star Wars to life, exclusive merchandise and the opportunity to become immersed in the galaxy far, far away.
Of course if you are reading this you know there is another reason to attend Celebration: autograph collecting. Every Celebration since Celebration II in Indianapolis has featured an autograph hall with luminaries spanning the entire galaxy signing items for fans.
Star Wars Autograph News has always said in the best of scenarios an autograph is simply a memento from the interaction you had with the signer. Whether the signing is in autograph hall or one of the many other signings scheduled throughout the show, there’s no better place to make Star Wars memories than Celebration.
Which celebrities have attended the most Celebrations and which have only attended one? How has Celebration autograph pricing changed since 1999? How much did the most expensive autograph cost at CIII? Has any Celebrity attended every Celebration? These questions might not keep you awake at night, but they are things I find myself thinking about often, so I decided to find out myself.
Here is the listing of every autograph hall guest, from every Celebration, and how much they charged for autographs at each show.
Very special thanks to the following people for their assistance in making this piece happen: Dan Madsen, Stuart Harper, Ian Trussler, Mark McCulloch, Dave Rowntree, Sylvius Weir, Nigel Jukes, Ian Pritchard, Scott Toth, Jay Dunn and Steve Grad.
