Richard Bonehill, Star Wars Celebration V
Facebook flowered with rememberences of Richard Bonehill today with the news of his passing. BBC News reported his paasing just hours ago, highlighting his career as a swordsman and the role he played in building the Truro Fencing Club. You can read the BBC story in it's entirity HERE.
I've read dozens of accounts this morning from people who have met Bonehill at conventions, and without exception, everyone expressed the pleasure of interacting with him. I met him at Celebration V in Orlando and enjoyed the few minutes I spent with him, chatting about his photos and his work on the films. Looking back, I would never that expected that would prove to be the first and only opportunity I would have to talk to him.
