Felix Silla, who portrayed the "skin-gliding" (according to Wookieepedia) Ewok "Retah" (according to Silla's personal website) in ROTJ is headlining the Grand Rapids Toy and Comic Expo, Saturday, December 3rd at the HSB Building, 5625 Burlingame Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI. Hours are 9am-3pm and admission is a mere $3! Children under 12 are free. Early birds can enter the event from 6am-9am for $10. Silla will be signing autographs for $20 from 9am-11:30 and from 12:30-3pm. Think that hour off is for a lunch break? Not for Mr. Silla. He'll be leading a discussion/Q&A from 11:30-12:15.
Hockey fans take note: Buy one, get one free coupons will be given out for the Muskegon Lumberjacks USHL Hockey Team “Star Wars Night“ taking place later that evening. The Lumberjacks will be taking on the Youngstown (OH) Phantoms about one hour away from the Expo. Doors open at 6:15, puck drops at 7:15. Felix Silla will be attending the game, surrounded by members of the 501st and Rebel Legions, and signing Limited Edition photographs for fans.
