Greg Grunberg will be attending Connecticut ComiConn on Saturday, August 15th, from 10am-2pm.  The actor, best known for his roles in Alias and Heroes, will be appearing in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  Connecticut ComiConn organizer Mitchell Hallock made the announcement today.

"We are please to announce our latest guest – GREG GRUNBERG! Fans will know him from his work on "Heroes", "Lost", "Felicity", "Alias", the Syfy movie "Big Ass Spider" and he will be appearing in "Heroes Reborn". in J.J. Abrams eagerly anticipated "Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens" Greg will be be signing at the con on Saturday only from 10am to 2pm!"

Grunberg announced his part in The Force Awakens via his Twitter page on September 24, 2014.  "Yes @smgulz it IS safe to assume I have a role in #StarWarsEpisodeVII – If I say more than that, JJ will have me killed." 

ET Online asked Grunberg about being in the new Star Wars film back in February. " I am so excited to even be in the movie! It’s going to be amazing. I can't say anything about it, J.J. [Abrams] always has this thing about the mystery box. But he has given out a little hints via charity. That’s really great. I am a huge Star Wars fan so to be in the movie was such a thrill."
