To the delight of Star Wars autograph hunters everywhere it was announced today that George Lucas will be adding his signature to the Stephen Stanton-led

STAR WARS Clone Wars Fan Days 2011 CELEBRITY Autographed Helmets to benefit Baby Leah.

May the Force be with the Baby LEAH made this announcement today:

"Hello everyone. I wanted to share with all of you… Last night we were contacted by GEORGE LUCAS ! His assistant got on the phone with us and we were told he was happy to help our Princess Leah!!!!! Our friends Dutch and Kathy (members of awesome group Princess Leah's Angels) went ahead and took it from there to send it to him and he will be sending it back within a day or two! I want to thank Stephen Stanton (TARKIN CW), for also being amazing to us and spreading the word around the world about our Leah. If you are reading this Uncle GEORGE, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frani and I appreciate all that you have done for us! And we thank all of you for your continued love and support of our baby Princess Leah. (…and putting up with this dads desperation to get more answers). May The Force Be With YOU! Zev"

Stephen Stanton made the following statements:

"Great news! George Lucas is signing the helmets! Dutch outdid himself getting these babies packed and ready to go to FedEx to be sent overnight! I think they’ll be safe!"

and…

"It's been an incredible day! I just want to thank George Lucas and everyone at LFL for contributing to the success of the auctions! It's more than we could have hoped for. The signatures on the helmets represent the entire spectrum of the Star Wars community. From the costumers who give us so much joy, to the artists and authors who continue to bring us new stories and characters to delve into, to the actors – on and off camera – who bring so many of these characters to life, to the podcasters and youtubers who spend their time entertaining the fans and bringing their perspective to the saga, to all the people behind the scenes who bring their skills into play making the entire Star Wars universe real for all of us. We all want to thank you for your contributions not only in signing the helmets, but for everything you do. Stephen, Kathy and as always, The Dutch May the Force Be With You and Yours Always"

With four days left the bidding stands at $1,025 for the Clone Trooper Helment and $1,000 for the Republic Commando Helmet.

Needless to say these helmets would be a tremendous addition to anyone's SW autograph collection, but more importantly 100% of the profits will go to Baby Leah and her family.  Let's get the bids and and send our best to Baby Leah and her family.
